I have a British bull dog, and he is one of the sweetest dogs one could ever desire to meet. He loves company and will often try to ly on someone as a way of showing affection. He is also afraid of water and barks like a small dog but I still love him. I'm glad you like pit bulls too, they are also very sweet dogs if treated right.
I too miss our old dog Huntson. I remember that my brother (he was his dog) would tell me that Huntson would sometimes try to pull people's pants down when he was a puppy. He would bite their pants only, not their backsides thank goodness.
I'm sorry about that, but you shouldn't let that ruin the image of them. Lots of them are very sweet. Other dogs than just Pit Bulls are capable of attacks as well. It just depends on the owner, and how they treat them.
by saying bully breed? By that I mean dogs that are said to be bullies but really aren't. There is a known dog show for all the bully breeds (i think there is bully in the name), it doesn't mean that in a bad way, but I understand where you're coming from. I <3 Pit bulls lol P.S. I always contradict myself, I'll say something and then purpously say something about wwhat i just said lol
If a dog is genetically unstable how can you make it a better dog? It's not like a human who may have the capacity to overcome some elements of a mental disorder or disability, animals aren't as complex in their cognitive and abstract thinking skills. What makes them even more different, in the case of dogs specifically, is that they're bred for certain predictable reflexes, which is why you have breeds to begin with.
Sure dogs aren't evil as they don't have the comprehension to understand what that is. That being said they're capable of varying levels of danger and doing things hat humans would consider evil. Which is why many people consider pit bulls to be "evil." They were created for an devious act by sadistic people so in a way I can see their point though applying it directly to the dog is a bit misguided imo.
When you state that a dog can be genetically unstable you're admitting they're inherently born with a problem - so you've contradicted yourself again when you say, "no pup born has no personnality or problem."
Which is why I continue to point it out to you.
Also, you can't train out genetics which breed traits are. Breed trait being a want to point, nip, or kill at a more predictable manner compared to other breeds.
You do have a point for yes some pitbulls are breed only for looks and such and the breeders/owners could care less about the mixture that they are creating. And if you work hard and it is still a puppy there is room for learning but yes you can change it only so much.
But others are born just fine.
But that is not the genetics of the first pitbulls, those instincs were added later by terrible people. End of disscussion, I feel we understand each other's point now.
*heavy sarcasim* between the vicous squeek toy attacts the kissing crusades and barking at his own gas i fear for my life with my pit pull puppy! i love my puppy we resuced him from the shelter all they want is what every dog wants love! and thats what he gets lots and lots of love! ive only had him a few months but i am going to have labs and pits for the rest of my life!!!!
Oh yeah, just because ONE single Pit Bull attacked you means that they're all evil. That's like me saying, "My snake bit me once and that's why I don't feed him!" And when you're trying to get a point across, please try to use proper spelling.
