Blue Floppy Plush by Miiroku Blue Floppy Plush by Miiroku
FINNALY FINISHED WITH THIS, GOD DAMN

And I'm very proud of this. owo
Blue came out adorable.

The pattern pieces for this I barely planned out, so I was randomly cutting away, adding, re-sewing.
This dude nearly killed me.
And it isn't even THAT big, maybe medium sized.

The eye dots I couldn't get to look right where they were supposed to be, so I sewed them onto Blue's forehead instead. XD

Any-hoodle:

Entirly hand sewn, no machine used.
Made entirely of fleece.
Eyes are layered fleece sewn together.
This includes over 110 pieces, including the paw pads, eyes, etc.
Measures just a bit over 14 inches from paw to paw.
Stuffed with pollyfill and plastic pellets.

I no longer take plush commissions.

This must have taken a lot of time, especially hand sewing all of those pieces together.

There are five shades of fleece on her, (not counting the nose/eyes/paw pad colors), and normally I pay about $5-8 a yard. So, say I was commissioned to make a plush of Blue and didn't have any of her colors, I'd be paying over $30 in material alone. XD

But once I buy a yard of fabric it lasts for a long time, so I'd still have enough material to make another 8 Blues, at least. :>

Ive been wanting to make a Plush of Breezy but she has like wierd browns?
so I would have to get like custom colored fleece or something.
Another question have you ever had to purchase like custom fleese if so how much was it for it?

I'd like to eventually start working with faux fur, once I build up my skills a bit. Faux fur is a little too pricy to just mess around with. XD

Yeah definitely! I've seen people do such amazing things with it. You could always snoop in the scrap bins for cheapo bits to mess with. I actually have a garbage bag full of it in my closet right now i've had forever, I should get it out sometime!

ive been thinking of making a plush this summer too, goodness, you are giving me so much inspiration merely by how adorable this is.
if you dont mind me asking, did you have a base patterned you referenced off of? or did you just merely wing it?
nevertheless, you should be very proud, because this is adorable!

Thanks so much! :D

Sorry in advance for a lot of blabbering I'm about to do!

She was half based around a Dingo plush I have, which has always made me want to make a similar plush, and half off of this pattern here:
[link]

I've never made a laying down plush like this before, it's always boggled my mind so much how to make the pattern, and I'm not even sure why it's so confusing to me. XD I likely spent around 3+ hours just working out the pattern on paper. (And even extra time working out the pattern once the fabric was cut) And even STILL I think I'd spend another hour working out what I disliked with the pattern. @w@

Anyways, the pose has always confused me for no reason in particular, so I spent a lot of times seeing how the pattern I linked fit together, and how the pieces of my own plush fit together. I'd say if you wanna make a laying plush, it may be good to find a plush with the similar pose and just sort of look it over to see how the pattern pieces work.

you could make the pierced ear-hole have velcro, and then make a few of her stud earings if you felt like it. the velcro would help attach it :3
but yesss very adorable plushie! great job
